Central Illinois Friends
Central Illinois Friends is a not-for-profit based out of Peoria and Normal, Illinois serving 15 counties throughout the region. The organization began in 1990 as a hospice center for people who were dying of AIDS-related complications, but through the years, quickly adapted to help people live a long and healthy life with HIV. Now the organization has set it's sights on getting to zero new HIV diagnosis by increasing PrEP and safe sex options, increasing access to care for people to have the opportunity to try and achieve an undetectable status. To get to zero, Central Illinois Friends knows that there is nothing about us, without us, therefore the organization puts people living with HIV first, always.
